We believe that living in your own home offers the greatest level of joy, comfort, and freedom. Home care is care that takes place at a client's residence, and consists of assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, bathroom assistance, meal preparation, or transferring and positioning. Caregivers also provide companionship. Not only are our caregivers highly trained, we look for people who are compassionate and personable, and are able to provide assistance with a personal touch.
The services provided by caregivers are non-medical in nature. They cannot perform services that a Registered Nurse would typically perform, such as dressing wounds or administering medication.
Our caregivers offer several specialized services, including hospital discharge/after surgery care, care for clients with specific conditions, such as diabetes, COPD, or stroke, and Alzheimer's/dementia care. A customized care plan is created for every client depending on his or her needs.
In addition to making our clients' lives easier, one of the primary goals of our caregivers is preventing hospitalization. A caregiver can help prevent falls, assist with transfers, and make sure medication is always taken at the right time. Our caregivers keep our clients safe while maintaining their independence by living in their own home.
